Pricing
All fees in pounds sterling. These are indicative starting figures for scoping purposes — every substance is quoted individually after a scoping call, and we confirm the fixed price in writing before any work begins.
Assessment
Work that establishes your position. Frequently ends the project, which is the point of doing it first.

What these fees do not include
Our fees cover our work. Three significant costs sit outside them, and any consultancy that folds them into a headline price is guessing:
- HSE statutory fees — set by regulation, scaled by tonnage band and company size, paid on submission.
- Letters of access and data purchase — commercially negotiated with the data owner. On a higher-band substance this can exceed every other cost combined, which is precisely what the ATRm is intended to address.
- Laboratory testing — quoted by the laboratory. We work to avoid it where the regulation allows, but where a study is genuinely required, the study has to be paid for.
How we quote
- Scoping call at no charge, to establish what is actually needed.
- A written fixed price per deliverable before any work starts. We do not bill open-ended hourly.
- Where scope genuinely cannot be fixed — an evaluation response, for example — we agree a cap.
- Staged payment against delivered milestones on registration projects.
- If the assessment concludes you are exempt or already compliant, that is the deliverable and the project ends there.
Indicative fees in GBP, exclusive of VAT where applicable, current as of 2026. Figures are starting points for scoping and are not an offer; the binding price is the one confirmed in writing for your substances.
